This day was not HOT and HUMID

We had to change the date about a month back for this session because of the HOT weather we had in August. The new date had perfect temps!!! I sure enjoyed getting to know both Heather & Joe during this session and anticipate the wedding to be lots of fun... The historical farm location is a friend of ours and Thanks goes to Jess & Kevin for letting me use it, plus we are looking forward to our family session soon at the same location with a local photographer :)

Our Only Senior Session

I was talked into this FUN senior session a couple weeks back, and Emilie was way cool to photograph in Downtown Hudson!!! I also had the chance to photograph her sister last year and what GREAT girls they are. Most of our work goes into couples who are getting married but a little change is fun, and keeps me on my toes.

Rose Gardens and Love

I have been by this location many times but never for a e-session. What a great location for a session in Minneapolis. The Rose Gardens have so amazing places to photograph this fun couple. We also made sure to this session was before the 7pm Vikings game :)

Hot and Windy Wedding

One hot and windy wedding day in Blaine Minnesota. The weather didn't stop this couple from having fun! Jenifer and Daniel chose Majestic Oaks Golf Club as the setting for their Sunday wedding in August. The day ended with one of the most energetic dance floors I have seen in a long time. It was the third wedding in one weekend for Beau and he had a blast with this young lovely couple.

At the Court House

Some say when they get married that, off to the Court House to be Married.... and thats what Jules and Mike did, but this court house is a Historic Court House located in Stillwater Minnesota. So there was NO judge as this wedding :) It was a beautiful day for all to enjoy this wedding in August. Jules and Mike live in California but made sure their wedding was back home for all to enjoy. I was so happy to be part of this day!!!

To grandma's house we go...

Sunday is family day and we spent it together in Hayward Wisconsin. Bijou LOVES West's Ice Cream in Hayward, "Blue Moon" is her favorite flavor... "let's get turquoise ice cream mom! and go to the candy store." We also love Tremblay's candy shop whenever we visit Hayward too. Bijou picks her own assortment of classic candy and Beau always buys his salt water taffy. My favorite though is "Chunky Musky" banana chocolate chip ice cream at West's. Although I skipped the ice cream today to save room for grandma's home made rhubarb dessert. Daddy and Bijou had fun riding on grandpa's ranger this beautiful day. The best part is being with the people we love.

Pirate in Ruins

This is Bethany, the other half of BP Photo, Beau left this blog up to me because... One of my best friends growing up was my cousin Clinton... He married his best friend Jessica on August 22nd 2010. She is truly beautiful and an electric personality. Clinton is absolutely head over heals for this girl. We had so much fun on their big day. They chose the ruins at Mill City Museum, Minneapolis, Minnesota as their setting www.millcitymuseum.org A fitting choice as they were engaged at the same location after visiting the Guthrie Theater earlier this year. Jessica's wedding dress was hand made by a friend. The flowers and decor were by our friend Summer Harsh Botanical Artistry www.summerharshbotanicalartistry.com It was a very hot August wedding day but that didn't stop Jess from waiting for Clinton in the middle of the Mill City Stone Arch Bridge, with the umbrella, for her debut. The red wall you may recognize from the new Guthrie Theater. Our daughter Bijou had a blast on the dance floor! The bridal parties had a battle of the choreographed dance too. We LOVE this love story and we are so happy to be a part of it. -Bethany Petersen, BP Photo
